Thanks to scanner- or camera-based technology, they capture the entire surface and reliably detect coating coverage, cracks, runs or splashes – independently of the operator, reproducibly and integrable inline or offline. Experience THT component inspection directly in the process
Automated inspection before soldering – for maximum safety and less rework at productronica 2025.
At productronica 2025, we will be presenting our camera-based THT inspection system, which ensures maximum process reliability directly at the assembly station. Even before soldering takes place, the system checks the presence, type, orientation, insertion depth, pin position and pin count of the components – fully automatically and without interrupting the production flow. This enables errors to be detected at an early stage, significantly reducing rework and scrap and sustainably increasing the reliability of series production.
Precise solder joint inspection for maximum process reliability
Automated inline inspection for error-free THT connections and stable manufacturing quality.
Our inspection systems for the THT soldering process check every solder joint fully automatically, reproducibly and independently of the operator. The use of multi-coloured LED lighting and high-resolution line scan cameras reliably detects solder bridges, open solder joints, missing pins or solder beads from 100 µm – even in complex assemblies. Integrated data analysis enables direct feedback to the line (closed loop), ensuring fast rework, less scrap and consistently high quality. The result: greater process reliability, shorter inspection times and a significantly higher first-pass yield.
