The new service and attendance system
The technologies of the Modus AOI systems have been developed over a period of more than 20 years. The durability of a plant as well as short downtimes in the manufacturing process are among the most important requirements for production lines. It is therefore crucial that the production personnel can operate the systems properly.
Training
Modus has developed a multi-stage program to support their customers´ training requirements. Instruction in groups or as individuals, for short or long periods, on customer’s site or at the modus facility in Willich, Germany – special tailored programs are available.
System integration
and commissioning
Each customer, each manufacturer and each production process have different requirements. Maximizing customer satisfaction by meeting these requirements is paramount to modus. Each delivered AOI unit is customized and pre-configured to fit directly into the production lines of our customers. After in-line integration of an AOI system
by the customer the service and support team by modus trains the customer’s operators for daily use and maintenance and carry out the final acceptance test on customer’s site together.

Technical support is not only assured by modus' own service staff but also by modus certified service partners. These partner companies undergo a thorough training and a final assessment which complies to the same high standards are guaranteed by the modus service department

On-site maintenance
Although modus AOI systems do not need a lot of maintenance to work properly, modus recommends routine inspections in regular intervals to maximize the durability and reliability of the AOI systems. Especially the mechanical components underly natural wear and tear. An annual maintenance is advisable and minimizes downtime. modus offers three service plan variants.
